It was a sell out last night for my mini sushi demo at the Hambledon village shop last night. A lively crowd learnt how to make four different types of sushi, including nigiri, fotomaki and hosomaki rolls and some simple tamari (sushi balls). Everyone got the hang of it very quickly and they were soon churning out rolls like professional sushi masters.
Everything was helped along nicely by some ice cold Chablis, and when I left, the party looked as if it was going to go on all night! All proceeds went to the Village shop, and the evening was such a success we are already planning more for Christmas.
