Whenever I cook, my perfect list of ingredients starts with family and friends. That way, I get to cook my favourite foods for lots of noisy, happy people. Plus, when you're cooking for the ones you love,  you can't go wrong. With laughter, plenty of opinions and shared memories in the mix,   the simplest recipes and humble ingredients magically turn into fine feasts.

Alongside my day jobs, I've been cooking and writing recipes for ever, so I'm thrilled that my biggest dream turned into a reality recently when my first cookery book 'Food for your brood' was published by Penguin Random House. I'm also honoured to be a contributor, alongside Nigella Lawson and Mary Berry to the 'Royal Marsden Cancer Cookbook' and a guest food writer for the 'Liz Earle Wellbeing' magazine.
