Whenever I cook, my perfect ingredients list starts with family and friends. With laughter, plenty of opinions and shared memories in the mix,  simple recipes and humble ingredients magically turn into fine feasts.

I’ve always loved writing and cooking, so I was beyond excited in when Food for your brood was published in 2015. My second book The Tin and Traybake Cookbook, used popular baking tins to create delicious baking, roasting, setting and freezing dishes, came out in 2018 and is now on its third reprint. It’s full of recipes for everything from inventive breakfasts, simple suppers and family get-togethers to sneaky sweet treats and food for hungry crowds.

My third book, The Batch Cook Book was published in November 2020. It’s a cornucopia of mouth-watering recipes, hints and tips for whipping up perfect portions for simple suppers and big-hearted feasts for friends and family. The dishes are nourishing, comforting and budget-friendly too. It’s a book for every cook, packed with suggestions for preparing single ingredients and seasonal gluts to filling your freezer with delicious sweet treats, takeaway toasties, luscious lasagnes and hearty stews. A happy, soothing, culinary handbook that is just perfect for our challenging times.

I’m very excited to say that my latest book The Green Batch Cook Book - vegetarian and vegan recipes for busy lives is out now! As a family, we’ve been including more and more meat-free meals into our weekly menu, and this happy book is the result. It’s a vibrant collection of gorgeous make ahead recipes that harness the colours and intense flavours of seasonal produce in a way that not just saves you time and money, but helps to reduce food and packaging waste too. I do hope you like it!
