Whenever I cook, my perfect list of ingredients starts with family and friends. That way, I get to cook my favourite foods for lots of noisy, happy people. With laughter, plenty of opinions and shared memories in the mix, the simplest recipes and humble ingredients are guaranteed to magically turn into fine feasts.
Alongside my day jobs, I've been cooking and writing recipes for ever, so I was delighted when a dream became a reality in 2015 when my first book 'Food for your brood' was published. I was also honoured to be a contributor, alongside Nigella Lawson and Mary Berry, to the wonderful 'Royal Marsden Cancer Cookbook'
And now, after three years in the planning, I'm very excited to announce that my second book 'The Tin and Traybake Cookbook' has just been published this month by the lovely team at Little, Brown. The book uses the six most popular baking tins to create delicious baking, roasting, setting and freezing dishes for every meal. It’s full of great ideas for every occasion, from inventive breakfasts, simple suppers and family get-togethers to sneaky sweet treats and food for hungry crowds.
